Toronto G20 - Where will the Don Juan chip truck be relocated to

I just read that the G20 Summit is moving the Don Juan chip truck not only out of the security red zone in front of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, but also outside of the larger yellow security zone. If you have an office downtown and have gone past the Convention Centre, you know who Don Juan is and how he has the most amazing french fries.

City of Toronto look at renting office space Toronto

The City of Toronto need Toronto office space for a new 150-member financial planning team. The city officials who look after allocating office space claim that there is no space available in existing city buildings to accommodate a team of 150. The planning group wants to move the financial planning team in Oxford Properties Group’s 200 Wellington St. W. office tower

As a side note, Blake Hutcheson is the new CEO of Oxford Properties Group is in the news for his choice to return to Toronto. Hutcheson was at one time the vice-chairman of Build Toronto, the agency that was responsible for developing city-owned real estate.

This is the first time since amalgamation in 1998, that the City of Toronto is looking at renting office space downtown in a office tower because there is not enough room at City Hall and Metro Hall.

Telsec Toronto office space for rent offers Team Space and Executive Offices for up to 50 people. When the city needs more office space for smaller teams, they may even look for office space Toronto at 1 Yonge Street.

Competition is a good thing

It seems that our local competitors are now watching us. What they do not understand is that we do not want their clients. We want our own. Competition is what keeps the market place honest.

Many of our competing office centers in the Toronto office space business just do not get it. Toronto small business offices is not so much a blog about fighting for dominance in the Toronto office market as much as it is about showing the marketplace that there is a difference. Even other business office centres can have a good deal, they can offer the same product for $1 less and still not give the quality of service. Telsec does not compete on price, they compete on the best product offered to clients.

Finding an office should not be like point and pray photography

As I have mentioned in other postings, I am not just the blog writer for Telsec and their Toronto office space, I am also a client. I am also a professional photographer who shoots commercial shoots, residential real estate shoots, portraits, and Event shoots.

This past weekend, I was asked to do a shoot at a large dance party that included a short skit show on stage. With all the different lighting and flashes from other photographers, I had to take a shoot and pray approach and take a large number of photos with and without the help of my flash. It was like being blindfolded and being asked to hit the bullseye, if you take enough shots, you will hopefully hit it.

This got me to thinking about the challenges of small businesses who are looking for quality office space in Toronto and thinking, the hit and miss method is not the approach I would tell them to try in finding an office space in Toronto.

When looking for an office centre, the best practice is to find an office space at a prestigious address like 1 Yonge Street (the number 1 address on the number one street in Canada). You also want a business office centre with a proven track record at benefiting their clients success.

This can be found with Telsec Business Centres. On their website www.telsec.net.
