As I have mentioned in other postings, I am not just the blog writer for Telsec and their Toronto office space, I am also a client. I am also a professional photographer who shoots commercial shoots, residential real estate shoots, portraits, and Event shoots.
This past weekend, I was asked to do a shoot at a large dance party that included a short skit show on stage. With all the different lighting and flashes from other photographers, I had to take a shoot and pray approach and take a large number of photos with and without the help of my flash. It was like being blindfolded and being asked to hit the bullseye, if you take enough shots, you will hopefully hit it.
This got me to thinking about the challenges of small businesses who are looking for quality office space in Toronto and thinking, the hit and miss method is not the approach I would tell them to try in finding an office space in Toronto.
When looking for an office centre, the best practice is to find an office space at a prestigious address like 1 Yonge Street (the number 1 address on the number one street in Canada). You also want a business office centre with a proven track record at benefiting their clients success.
This can be found with Telsec Business Centres. On their website www.telsec.net.

Toronto International Film Festival - office space
It is TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival) time again. Along with the many stars and film directors in town, the city of Toronto is full of international media and business representatives from companies who do business with the film industry. With the influx of movie industry types, media and visiting business representatives, comes the need for Toronto short term office rentals and Toronto temporary offices space rental.
Telsec Toronto office space is the choice location for a business executive centre, as it is ideally located near the many film studios in Toronto and also right downtown where all the film festival parties, galas and film showings. After the Toronto International Film Festival is over, there will be a demand for offices near the film district.
Even if you are not in the film business, you may be one of those companies that sell your products or services to the film industry, you will want your office to be close to where the film companies are located. This is especially true for vendors looking to do business with new Corus Entertainment, as their new headquarters being built only a few blocks east of 1 Yonge Street, the Toronto Star building and home of Telsec business centres.

Back To School is also a good time For Business Homework
As everyone prepares to get the kids back to school, they forget about the homework that they have to do as small business owners.
Just as you should change the batteries in your smoke detectors when the time changes for daylight savings time, back to school season is a good time to review your business plans. Yes, you remember those plans you made when you wanted to convince the bank that you had a viable business and that they should lend you start up funds. Too many businesses forget about their business plans after starting their business, but it is important to review your plan twice a year. Especially the part of your plan that discusses your growth and expansion.
Has it been 2, 3, 5 or even 10 years since you started your business? Has you need for office space or professional image grown? Are you still working from home or in borrowed space that does not allow you to grow further? The secret behind the success of people like Bill Gates, James Balsillie, Steve Jobes, and other businesses that started in a basement or garage is that they knew when it was time to move into a real business address.
Telsec offers many different options to businesses looking to grow, but not ready to take on the challenges and headaches of setting up an independent office, without foregoing the advantages of a prestigious office location and professional office support team.
Once the kids are back to school and getting homework assignments, why not start your own homework and start investigating how to grow your business out of your home and showing your clients you have a professional address.
