City of Toronto look at renting office space Toronto

The City of Toronto need Toronto office space for a new 150-member financial planning team. The city officials who look after allocating office space claim that there is no space available in existing city buildings to accommodate a team of 150. The planning group wants to move the financial planning team in Oxford Properties Group’s 200 Wellington St. W. office tower

As a side note, Blake Hutcheson is the new CEO of Oxford Properties Group is in the news for his choice to return to Toronto. Hutcheson was at one time the vice-chairman of Build Toronto, the agency that was responsible for developing city-owned real estate.

This is the first time since amalgamation in 1998, that the City of Toronto is looking at renting office space downtown in a office tower because there is not enough room at City Hall and Metro Hall.
